Are you ready for a new secret? This week, I discovered a sexy lingerie store on Lincoln Road where all of your favorite celebrities have been purchasing their most intimate apparel: Journelle. The store is designed for sophisticated women who enjoy wearing beautiful, unique and comfortable lingerie. Launched in 2007, Journelle has become one of the world's top lingerie stores, earning highest honors from Zagat. In Miami, the store appeals to fashionistas who are looking for the sexiest brands of undergarments including: Cosabella, Mimi Holliday, Stella McCartney, Chantelle, Elle Macpherson and La Perla. Once you enter the store, you can check out their latest spring collection along with a variety of beautifully crafted chemises, camisoles and robes.
You may even be lucky enough to meet the founder and CEO of Journelle, Claire Chambers (pictured above). Claire has been featured as an expert on InStyle, Nylon and "Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style." At the back end of the store, you'll find the finer things in life like the most luxurious brassieres and shall I say it..."a naughty toys" area. Ladies, this store seriously has your needs on their mind at all times. In this section, you will find brands like La Perla which tend to exude the highest level of sex appeal.
This was one of the most interesting pieces I found at the store: a bra that provides lift while hardly covering a particular body part! A definite garment for my most daring and flirty readers. Yet another reason why I love this store: the unique designs found in each bra as shown above will make you want to try everything!
As far as the store's fitting rooms, they are designed to mimic the experience you will encounter at a spa. When you enter the fitting area, there are complimentary chocolates and water for you to relax and enjoy. Each spacious room contains a robe and a sofa as well as a bundle of disposable thongs. What a concept!!! This is not only an amazing hygienic move but it's an attention to detail you don't find in other stores.
